   All National Federations, Representatives and Associations of the EUPA are to kindly requested take clear notice of the following:

   1. All Athletes must present the following documents to the registration committee on 17 April 2008 at Varna, Bulgaria.

   2. The delegation must bring and present to the organizing committee: constitution and court decision for registration of the national federation of Pankration, 2 national flags and the audio tape of the national anthem.

   3. Each National Pankration Federation or Association is required to duly complete the enclosed Participation Card in ENGLISH, in capital letters and forward the same by email or fax to the EPAF Secretariat on or before 15 March 2008.

   The Participation cards MUST be correctly filled in and signed by the legally authorized officers of the respective National Federation.

   4. The rules of competition shall be as per the IFPA Rules of competition as modified by the General Assembly at Ukraine, 2007 and all national coaches must ensure that their athletes are be properly trained under these rules and must have full knowledge of these rules in order to be eligible to participate in the European championship.

   5. All National Athletes must be attired in the official IFPA endyma (uniform) which comprises of a white hitonio [top] – lefkos, blue hitonio [top] - keanous and the blue periskelida [pants] in the fabric material and design as approved by the IFPA.

   6. All athletes must wear standard Pankration fighting Gloves as approved by the IFPA either in white color for (lefkos) or blue color for (kianous).

   7. No athletes in the 19-21 age category shall be permitted to take part in the Championship, unless he/ she holds a minimum Grade/ Rank of Alpha Taxis (Equivalent to the Pankration Provisional Black Belt Grade). During this Championship, the EPAF will issue the Grade/ Rank of Alpha Taxis. Cost 50 euro.

   8. All athletes must wear standard IFPA approved Groin Guards.

   9. All International Hellanodikis must be attired in red hitonio with the IFPA official logo and red periskelida .The Hellanodikis will carry his ravdos (Stick) to the palestra. Referees will wear Blue wrist band on Right hand and white wrist band on left hand to clearly indicate Kianous and Lefkos scoring.

   10. Athletes and Hellanodikes will NOT wear Shoes on the Palestra, however the Side Krites are permitted to wear WHITE sports shoes whilst sitting in the designated corners of the Palestra.

   11.Proponites will be attired their National Pankration Track suit and white spots shoes.

   12. Any Participant found not complying with the Dress Code Regulation is liable to be removed from the Competition by the Tournament Committee.

   13. The following committees will officiate in the European Championship:

   Supervisory Committee: Comprising of Select Members of the European Federation of Pankration (EFPA) and accord the rights as the Highest Authorized Chancellor of this event. (EFPA will officially appoint & introduce its sole supervisor for this event).

   Promoter: Bulgaria Pankration Federation in close cooperation with European Federation of Pankration (EFPA).

   Registration Committee: In charge of Registration of all Athletes, Delegates coaches and Trainers, verification of athlete’s identity, participation and fitness documents and weight and category verification.

   Tournament Committee: In charge of all Administrative Functions pertaining to the Competition and the Arena.

   Organization Committee:In charge of Coordination, Facilitation, Hospitality, Transportation and Welfare of all Delegates, Athletes and Officials.

   The Hellanodikon (Referee) Committee: The Referees Committee in charge of all matters pertaining to strict compliance with the IFPA Competition Rules and Regulations.

   The Medical Committee: In charge of All Matters Pertaining the Health and Safety of All Competitors and to monitor and ensure FULL Compliance of WADA regulations.

   14. All delegations must inform the EPAF before 25^th March 2008 of their respective schedule of arrival at Varna International Airports, so as to enable arrangements to be made to receive the delegation and take them to the hotel.

   15. Information on Youth European Championship location and athlete’s accommodation:

   Cost 38 Euro per day per person including: breakfast, dinner and local transportation.
   Cost 33 Euro per day per person including: breakfast and local transportation.
   All participants are kindly required to pay for their accommodation at the time of registration as soon as they arrive.

   AWARDS:

   Gold, silver and bronze medals and diplomas will be awarded to the respective 3 winners in each of the categories as proclaimed in this competition.
